What is Clubhouse?

IMG_2434_edited.jpg

Attending Clubhouse  gives members the opportunity to rebuild their life  after being affected by mental illness.

The work ordered day encourages recovery, routine and stability.  The more a member attends the less time they spend isolating themselves.

The more a member engages in the program, the more likely they are to experience higher self esteem, confidence and self worth.

The Clubhouse Model of Recovery integrates individuals back into society and into the work force.  It helps individuals lead a more fulfilling life.

Membership

A Clubhouse is a free membership organization, and therefore the people who voluntarily come and participate are its members.

Membership in a Clubhouse is open to anyone who has a history of mental illness.

This idea of membership is fundamental to the Clubhouse concept, as having membership in an organization means that an individual has both shared ownership and shared responsibility for the success of that organization. It is a place where you are always welcome.
